We received this exciting news about some of our sponsored children:

Three of our sponsored children were elected as School prefects: Masika Edreen as Head Prefect, Muhindo Sabina Toreen as Head of Girls and Mumbere Sombre Renosh as Debate Prefect.

We are so proud of these young people and their accomplishments!

You can sponsor a child in Kisebere for only $15 per month. Visit us at www.lkcfuganda.org and contact us about a sponsorship that can be life changing for them.

Several of our sponsored children are continuing their education at the high school (secondary) level in Kisebere. Because of their sponsors, that have been able to receive assistance with their educational expenses, school uniforms, supplies, books and a meal at school each day. This assistance has made a huge impact on their educational success.

We know that these young people will be able to fulfill their dreams of getting the best education available to them and to help them enter the vocation of their choice to be vital members of their community in the future.

Thanks to several generous donations during our Christmas Fundraiser, Bishop Tom was able to provide a Christmas Party for our sponsored children, their families and children from the local school.

The children were given goodies and drinks for the party, but were also given books, pens, pencils and the girls were given sanitary towels. High School students received new school uniforms and shoes, if they were in need. Plus, several mattresses were given out from the funds we raised.

These fundraisers are done so extra help can be given to the children. Sponsors of children provide them with funds they need for school fees and supplies, plus they receive a meal at school each day.

Sponsorship is only $15 per month and makes a world of difference for these children. They have all performed much better in school and are healthier, too.

Here are some photos from the Christmas party.
